Key Staff Glenn M. Keays, M.Sc., CEA(SFM), EMS(LA), OHSMS(LA) President and Principal Consultant Glenn Keays is an experienced environmental management consultant and auditor who specializes in providing advice and assistance to senior management and environmental coordinators of small and large industrial operations on the development and implementation of environmental management systems. With ten years experience as an environmental manager for industry in Ontario and New Brunswick, and ten years as an environmental consultant, Glenn brings a practical knowledge of federal and provincial environmental legislation, due diligence and environmental mitigation issues. In particular, he has extensive experience in environmental and sustainable forest management in mill and woodlands operations, and regulatory issues pertaining to the forest industry. He also has experience providing environmental management services to linear development projects such as pipeline, highway and airport construction, electrical utilities and tourism developments such as golf course construction. Glenn received his Master of Science degree in Biology through the University of New Brunswickâs Fire Science Centre. He has completed additional training in public consultation, sustainable forest management, ISO 14001 auditing, OHSAS 18001 auditing, ISO 9001 implementation and auditing, and FSC auditing. He is a Certified Sustainable Forest Management System Auditor and Environmental Management System Lead Auditor with the Canadian Environmental Auditing Association. Sharon M.L. Keays, B.Ed., CAUS, FCUIC Financial Officer and LTS Administrator Sharon Keays has an invaluable combination of experience as an educator, accounting clerk in financial institutions and in customer service. In addition to being responsible for the financial administration of Birchwood Environmental Management Inc., she is the primary researcher for our Legal Tracking Service, maintains the LTS database and serves as a Forest Certification Forum moderator.
